Research Base of Panda Breeding
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is located in the northern suburbs of Chengdu, about 10 kilometers away from downtown Chengdu. The facility is famous for the protection and breeding of endangered wild animals that are unique to China. It simulates the natural habitat of the giant pandas, where there are lakes, streams, bamboo forests and lawns. The chance to come into close contact with the giant pandas is a highlight here. Visitors can have a close-up observation of the pandas’ living conditions. There is also a “Panda Villa”, which is a preserved area for the pandas to rest.


Jiuzhai Valley National Park
Jiuzhaigou National Park is located in Jiuzhaigou County, Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The flora and fauna are rich in resources, with high ecological protection, scientific research and aesthetic tourism value. The scenic area is rich in biodiversity and the rarity of species is outstanding. Jiuzhaigou is also known as the “six greats of Jiuzhaigou” with its alpine lakes, waterfalls, colorful forests, snowy peaks, blue ice, and Tibetan customs, and is known as the “fairy tale world” and the “king of the waterscape”. Jiuzhaigou is also a national geopark with geological relics of calcified lakes, beaches, waterfalls and forest ecosystems as the main protection object, with high scientific research value.
Three Natural Bridges
Wulong Three Natural Bridges is a Unesco World Heritage Site located about 20km away from Wulong County and a filmmaking location for the films “Transformers 4”. It is a precious eco-system site which is famous for the karst topography expecially the Tiankeng or natural sinkhole in the world. The site has three stone arch bridges that are deemed as ” natural arch bridges in the world”. They are namely Tianlong(Sky Dragon) Bridge, Qinglong (Green Dragon) Bridge, and Heilong (Black Dragon) Bridge. It is the largest natural stone bridge group in Asia.
