Huangshan
Huangshan city has the natural wonders of Mount Huangshan and the humanistic tranquility of Hong Village, interprets oriental aesthetics.
Mount Huangshan is famous for its long history. Xu Xiake, a great traveler and geographer in the Ming Dynasty, visited Mount Huangshan twice and exclaimed “There is no mountain in the world if you climb Mount Huangshan” after witnessing its grandeur. The strange pines, weird rocks, sea of clouds and hot springs are called the “four best” of Mount Huangshan. They are nature’s ghostly craftsmanship and cannot be missed. In addition, sunrise is also a unique landscape of Mount Huangshan, which makes people feel as if they are in a fairyland.
Hongcun Scenic Area is a typical Huizhou ancient village, and renowned as a “village of Chinese paintings.” Visitors can observe the “three carvings” of Huizhou: brick carving, stone carving, and wood carving. With the same detail as paper cutting, the human landscape blends perfectly with the natural landscape.
Dunhuang
Dunhuang city has the world’s cultural heritage of Mogao Caves and desert wonders of the Mingsha Mountain Crescent Springs and other attractions, Dunhuang is the epitome of traditional Chinese culture, the continuation of nearly two thousand years of Dunhuang culture, is the world’s largest existing, best preserved art treasure trove.
The Mogao Grottoes have a large number of murals, cultural relics, and etc. It’s a world-famous Buddhist art destination. Guizhou (province)
